Latest Brouillard Définitif Releases
Posted by UncleFester on Wednesday, February 25 @ 18:19:41 CST

Expositions - A Tribute to Charles de Goal. Here is the first time while Brouillard Définitif associates with two other structures beeing friendly with us: Self Control (Charles de Goal's label) and Str8line Records (No Tears, de Volange, Neutral Project...) to become to produce, release and distibute this following «Tribute» compilation which we're preparing since a long time already. This alliance is here to confirm the will to get closer many bands/artists claims beeing fans of Charles de Goal but also bands/artists which answered to the challenge which was, as you bet it, to cover any liked track of Charles de Goal.

Excès Nocturne - L'écho des Silences 12" maxi. Dear friends, here it is, clad in its special ornaments, «L'écho des silences» is released! It is the band's true present to their fans. The fans who have been faithfully following the tracks of the Northern band we cherish. A unique record that is a symbol of the link that unites us. This 4 track-vinyl EP features already famous tracks, «Mémoire», «Le soleil s'est noyé» and «La vie peut être cruelle», but recently re-recorded, rearranged and remixed. «Moi dans le silence» is a new previously unreleased track. It's such a pleasure to present this band on vinyl, after so many years! For this special occasion, Corine has personally redecorated a limited number of sleeves, and these will be unique collector's items. A beautiful handmade and signed object!

New Wednesday Shows - Disorder and Lofi Stories
Posted by UncleFester on Tuesday, January 06 @ 22:34:21 CST

Disorder, with DJ Shred (New York), is dedicated to rare, forgotten or just missed post punk, classic punk, new wave and synth mainly from between 1977 and 1989.

The Lofi Stories were born in October 2006 on Radio Panik (Brussels) and are now broadcasted on Radio Grenouille (Marseille, FR) and Radio Eko (Montpellier, FR) since September 2008. Every month, it proposes a sort of musico-journalistic –radio.collage, 100 % DIY. The main axis of each show relies on an interview (one or several artists), which is then edited and remodeled through samples and tracks directly linked to the interviewee + a voice off acting as an unusual interviewer and broadcaster.

Latest Brouillard Définitif Releases

A Sordid Poppy - The Holy Sides (1991-1992) CD. In the early 90s, two brothers and few school mates decided to form «A Sordid Poppy» refering to Siouxsie's «Poppy Days» and Babel 17 «A Sordid Waste». Their music is always a bit cold but still with some « touching-pop » elements as well as experimental, complex and (then) modern elements. The lyrics are nicely arranged, sometimes surrealistic, sometimes haughty, but always terribly decadent!

Seconde Chambre - Victoires Prochaines 83-89 2xCD. Not really attentionned of their 80s period, it is now revived and revamped with their come back with this complete wedding production. Seconde Chambre like the Thugs, an other North Western band, has always maintained an unclassifiable genre, a provoctiave immesurably hot, unliked from the cold wave scene from that era. In fact, this band has a unique exciting style. We can correlate sounds ranging from glam-rock to post-punk and psychadelic-rock to garage-rock, but with an exlusive (*hungover) voice that will give the band an original rough aspect.
